Multi -Lingual
As well as being Multi-Platform the application interface can also be viewed in several different languages (English UK, French, Spanish, Italian and German).

All results are clearly shown and where pictures are available you will also be able to see in advance the campsite. The slick interface also allows you to search by Map, i.e. by area by using the visual search to filter results. After searching you are presented with a page with each campsite shown so you can compare utilities using the icons and any further filters when searching.
You can also read user reviews about each campsite from within the application and even add your own comments and mini-review. Further to reviewing you can also add additional campsites to the database, so you can share your discoveries with others.

There is also a user guide built into the application should you need help.
Independant of Internet Access
iCampsites USB can be used completely offline, independant from online needs. However Google Mapping does require internet access should you need it.
Continually Growing Number of Entries
Our database now has over 8500 campsite reviews/entries as well as 2300 additional reviews on top. Due to the nature of the database with it being community driven the database grows all the time with new sites and user reviews being added daily.

This looks like a very useful item to carry around and has the added advantage of free updates. There is already a wealth of data on the USB stick and new sites are being added all the time. How I will manage when I don\'t have a connection and thus no Google Maps, I don\'t yet know, but the ability to search a radius seems a great idea. Thanks for this, it will be a great addition when travelling.

The data fields you can put together in a compound query are not structured very logically which reduces the usability somewhat.
Despite this, it is a very useful tool which we used extensively in France this year. Stick with it and the data is very helpful.
LESLIE APPLETON: Thursday 03 November, 2011

I had a problem with the maps on this product but it was soon fixed with a single phone call to iCampsites.
It has to be the most useful computer program on the market for anyone turing either here in the uk or throughout europe

First impressions are good and you just know it will get better and better as more sites and site reviews are added.
Needed a bit of phone advice to understand how to update the program to the latest release and the help-desk was a good experience.
Great features online and just as useful offline.
