Satellite Internet for motorhomes and caravans is now fortunatley easy to use and can be tailored to suit your needs, there are three main systems on the market all of them have features specific to them.
Oyster Internet System
The Oyster Internet System features autoskew as standard which is handy when travelling to the extremes of the satellite footprint as it can automatically tweak the LNB skew angle on the fly without you needing to get on the roof and adjust it. The system also comes to you with a combined satellite receiver and control box meaning that it comes with a satellite TV decoder built into the control box (known as the hideaway unit). The Oyster Internet does either TV or Internet i.e. if you want to go online you can't watch TV should you want to at the same time.
Teleco Internet Sat System
The Teleco Internet Sat differs from the Oyster in that it is receiver indepedant as it does not come with a receiver in the box, this is ideal when using a Sky Box or FreeSat or Avtex DRS TV. The Teleco Internet Sat also comes to you with a dedicated TV LNB so if you wanted to you can watch TV whilst surfing the internet at the same time, Teleco also offer the system with a Twin LNB so you can even have two seperate TVs or run a Sky+ Box.
Crystop Internet System
The Crystop Internet Sat System like the Teleco is also receiver independant however does not allow TV at the same as Internet currently however you can specify autoskew as an optional extra which is worth while when travelling to the extremes of the satellite footprint.
