Outdoorbits is a family business established in 2004.
Our staff have a vast array of experience with motorhomes with Julie and David having lived full time on a motorhome and travelled around Europe for a few years.
We now spend out time assisting others and passing on hard earned experience to save you making any ill informed and costly mistakes.
At the core of our company mindset we treat every customer vehicle the way we would treat our own and offer friendly unbiaised advice along the way.

David - Head Honcho
David comes from a Naval background having served 12 years and left the service as a Chief Petty Officer Weapons Engineering Artificer (A lofty title for a senior technician !) During his career he spent time working on Radar, Sonar and Computer systems and was present during the Gulf War and Croatia conflict.
He then moved into the IT Industry and since 2003 has been "Mr Motorhome" ! His research into the perfect van for fulltiming in with his wife led to the creation of the Motorhome Information / Community Portal motorhomefacts. After returning to home shores he set about creating a business to supply products to other Motorhomes using his experience and technical know how to source the best and most suitable product lines.
This naturally evolved and now spends his time mixed between being the head of the business but also all aspects of the day to day running.
David is also a member of the Caravan Writers Guild and has been a panelist on seminars at shows like the Birmingham NEC Motorhome Show.
David is an avid Formula 1 follower having attended a few races, does Crossfit and running in a futile attempt to stave off middle age and seemingly spends every waking minute trying to resolve software bugs.
Julie - Business Admin
Davids Wife and Business Partner is Julie.
Julie has worked in a variety of roles in her life from Personal Trainer (even working with Charles Dance) a Childrens holiday rep for Thomson Holidays, Insurance Administrator, Childrens entertainer.
Julie has also considerable motorhoming experience having lived full time on a motorhome whilst travelling around Europe with David and Bradley the Lab. Her hardest role to date which is looking after her two daughters Izzy and Sophia.
Julie assists with the business aspects and office administration, customer service, taking orders and enquiries whilst juggling looking after children.
Dave 2 - Motorhome Fitter
Dave comes from a mechanical background having worked previously in the Automotive Industry in a variety of roles. Originally from Surrey but now residing in Sunny Devon. Dave is a dog lover and has two King Charles, A Bishon Frise and a Bischon Cross so inevitably spends lots of time doing beach walks..
Sarah - Customer Service
Sarah is our newest staff member and is a customer support representative.
