Windblocker Sunshades
Windblocker Sunshades are an ingenious invention for motorhomers and caravanners alike, simply put Windblocker Sunshades slide into the front of your awning and provide instant shade and still fresh air.
Windblocker Sunshades have significant advantages over Fiamma Privacy Rooms as they are much lighter than traditional heavy weight Camp Rooms as well as being incredibly good value in comparison to Privacy Rooms.
Windblocker Sunshades fit most popular brands of motorhome and caravan awnings including Fiamma and Prostor Awnings.
How do I fit Windblocker Sunshades?
Quite easily really, slide the front panel into your awnings front channel and the side panels are fitted using two poles (not supplied as poles can be damaged during transit) such as Fiamma Door Poles or Fiamma Awning Rafters or even clothes line poles.
What are Windblockers Made From?
They are made from a material the Dutch actually use when cultivating bulbs or growing flowers, as the material lets light and air diffuse through gently so not to upset belicate blooms and flowers.
Can I have a different colour?
Of course, they come in White, Grey, Blue, Charcoal or Burgundy. Green is avaliable on special order only (i.e. made to order).
What size do I need?
Well typically most awnings have an extension of 2.5m (most Fiamma awnings) so you will only the standard end panels unless you have greater than 2.5m for extension (2.75m for the Omnistor 6900 and 8000) customer sizes may be needed.
Secondly the size depends on the length of the awning (width across the front of the awning) which tallies up with the Windblocker sizes in cm.
If your awning size does not tally up with the standard sizes then simply choose the size above and then choose the custom size option in the dropdown menu and enter in your actual awning sizes for A/B/C/D into the order comments box.
How do I fasten Corners for End Panels and Front Panels together ?
We do not recommend you do this as the strain of wind will be then on the sides and can damage the material, only the top and footer of the panels are reinforced and designed for stress.
