The Victron Multiplus combines an intelligent inverter charger with a sophisticated battery monitor.
With a Multiplus installed in your motorhome life is much easier, simply use your electrics as you would at home then check a simple readout of either % remaining in batteries or even Hours and Minutes remaining. Once the power remaining is low simply either hookup or start up your generator.
The Victron Multiplus is an intelligent, multi-stage, temperature compensated charger, properly configured it automatically distributes incoming mains between charging and powering your appliances. Furthermore it will charge your batteries rapidly and intelligently, prolonging their life, saving time, and minimising noisy generator run time. These chargers even come with a battery temperature sensor as standard, to ensure correct charging.
The Victrons take things a few steps further, with Uninterruptible Power Supply faclity.

There is ALWAYS mains available there when you need it.
With automatic switchover technology When your generator runs out of fuel, or the hook-up is unplugged the mains is not interrupted.
Worried about overloading your mains hookup and tripping it causing embarassment as the site warden has to be called to reset it ?
Using the optional control panel, simply tell your Victron how much power is available and the Victron will no longer exceed the limits set. The PowerControl feature limits the power taken from the incoming mains.
Built in Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS) functionality: seamless transfer from external AC to inverter supply.
A unique AC power management system will prevent overload of a limited AC source.
First, battery charging will automatically be reduced when otherwise an overload would occur. The second level will boost the output of a generator or hookup supply with power taken from the battery: where peak power is often required only for a limited period, the Phoenix MultiPlus will make sure that insufficient hookup (European low amp hookups) or generator power is immediately compensated for by power from the battery.
Models range from 800VA to 3000VA per module.
Takes on the role of a standard zig charger AND a professional level inverter in one single unit.
