Tracking Solar Panels
Tracking Solar Panels are the efficient alternative to standard flat mounted panels.
Because tracking solar panels can get the optimum angle to the sun and follow it across the sky they can produce multiples of the power obtainable from flat panels, up to 5 times in the case of the sunpower phenix for example.
Obviously there is a price to be paid for the extra electronics and motors to position a tracking solar panel but when power requirements are high and roof space is at a premium then a tracking solar panel is the way ahead.
