SOG Toilet Systems

SOG Toilet Kits are an amazingly easy and simple idea and will save you money over time.

They work on a very simple principal of oxygenating the contents of your toilet cassette in order to break down the effluent in a similar method to how Sewerage treatment plants work.

The SOG Kit consists of an extension hose from a take off point on your toilet cassette to a fan and then out to a exterior venting filter. When you open the toilet flap to use the toilet this activates a microswitch and in turn the fan which immediately sucks air down into the toilet bowl (preventing unwanted aromas from escaping into the van), the process of oxygen passing over the toilet cassette contents encourages the growth of bacteria and hence removes the need for costly, often damaging to the environment chemicals.

The only maintenance required for a SOG Toilet Kit is the replacement of the filter annually and can be used 100% Chemical Free.

Expensive, specialised toilet rolls suitable for chemical toilets are no longer required.

How the SOG System Works:

The SOG ventilator is switched on as soon as the blade valve starts to open and is switched off again when the blade valve is closed. The fact that no smells can leave the waste holding tank is brought about by - as soon as the ventilator is switched on there is a suction effect in the waste holding tank which draws in fresh air through the blade valve. This down-flow acts as a seal and prevents the gases and smells from rising. The fresh air that is drawn in removes the new odours in the toilet bowl when it is being used.

The decomposition process for sewage and toilet paper is accelerated by the increased flow of oxygen so that no additional chemicals are required. Ordinary toilet paper, not special for chemical toilets, should be used so that this is decomposed completely. The exhaust ventilator with its motor has been specially developed for sanitary systems. The power consumption is approximatley 0.43 watt.

The SOG Motorhome Toilet Ventilation System is the ecological solution for motorhome and caravan toilets.

Which SOG System Do I Need?

The SOG Systems come in 5 different main variations for each different cassette type.

If you have a Thetford C2 / C3 / C4 Cassette you will need the SOG Type A, Here.

If you have a Thetford C200 Cassette you will need the SOG Type B, Here.

If you have a Thetford C400 Cassette you will need the SOG Type D, Here.

If you have a Thetford C250 Cassette you will need the SOG Type F, Here.

NOTE: This is a self fitting kit for your existing thetford cassette and is a very simple process.

The SOG System Kits comprise of the following parts:

• SOG adapter to fit to the cassette.
• Fan for airflow that is integrated into the locker door.
• Hose section that allows air to travel from the cassette to the fan.
• Carbon filter that fits to the locker door and removes aroma passing through the fan .

SOG Kit Type B Roof Kit - The special duct supplied with this kit for the C200 allows ventilation through the roof. The parts that we supply are standard parts for waste pipes, available at camping shops.

A. The filter housing is 7" High X 5 1/4" Wide, It can be fitted either horizontally or vertically (Some Rapido vans for instance require horizontal fitting).
