Reich Caravan Weight Control (1500Kg)

Don't let the name fool you, the Reich caravan weight control (CWC) scales are not designed specifically for caravans but can be used on any vehicle up to a maximum of 1500Kg per wheel (Not to be mistaken for the cheaper model which can only weigh up to 1000Kg per wheel)

The Reich caravan weight control scales act as a portable weighbridge giving you peace of mind before setting out in your motorhome or caravan.

Payloads can be such a limiting factor on motorhomes nowadays with some models having very little extra weight allowances over and above the driver, full tank of water and fuel that it can be quite easy to drift over these limits unknowingly until on the way to your holiday destination with a full load of childrens toys, seats, clothes, food, bikes and other holiday adornments you get pulled over to do a roadside weigh in and suddenly find out you are way over your 'legal' limits

Motorhomes are fitted with a plate which show the maximum overall travelling weight and also the maximum weight which can be borne by both  the front axle and the rear. The Reich Caravan Weight Control will allow you to measure all of these weights accurately.

Using the Reich Caravan weight control is as follows:-

Switch on the Reich scale and choose the relevant programme using the menu button i.e. (Vehicle type (motorhome / caravan / trailer) and then  (one axle or tandem axle).
Symbols represent the different vehicle types.
Once type has been selected then place the Reich caravan weight control scales at a right angle in front of or behind the wheel indicated on the display and drive over the scale as slow as you can.
You can then read the wheel load of the wheel in question.
Once one wheel is complete pressing the menu button will proceed on to the next wheel.
Once all wheels are complete you have the individual wheel loads
Press the 'Total' button and the total weight of the vehicle will be indicated, couldn't be simpler !
