We purchased this for maximum movement for our 15" LCD TV. Initially I had problems with this little button which is there to secure it in motion, (the reason we actually chose this model, a we didn't want it swining around when travelling!). I reported this to Outdoor Bits who suggested I return it, except we were due to go away the next day, so I said I would look at the situation again when we returned). My husband then whilst away, had a good look at it, and it appears I was at fault.... :-(

You have to line up the bracket exactly and I had it slightly off whilst trying to push in the little knob.... so it is fine, just needs proper alignment. Therefore my criticism really is that the button that you use to secure this would be better located on the top of the arm as opposed to underneath, as trying to get your head underneath was what apparently was causing me to pull it off centre. So if you buy one, look down from ABOVE and keep the two arms square....

Hope that all makes sense and helps others. Actual arm is excellent and we are pleased with it.
