Kathrein CAP 710 Automatic satellite System

The Kathrein CAP 710 is Kathrein’s most popular mid-sized automatic satellite system, as of 2010 the original Kathrein CAP 710 has been updated to the Kathrein CAP 710 spec. As usual the Kathrein CAP 710 keeps is high level of build quality and reception but now has an incorporated HD receiver allowing you to view all of your original FTA TV Channels but now you can also catch up with FTA HD Services such as BBC HD and ITV HD.

The Kathrein CAP 710’s receiver also has built in USB connectivity which means you can record to a USB stick or Hard Drive. The receiver is now the controller which means you save space and energy, as it’s all built in it’s easier to use and leaves a tidier installation (also includes a remote sensor that means the receiver can be hidden out of sight).

Please note that to view HD content in full you will need an HD Ready or Compatible TV, HD content is provided via the receivers HDMI out connector.

The Kathrein CAP 710 allows ease of use and quick installation as it incorporates a HD UFS 940sw FTA Satellite receiver with a HDMI Port.

The CAP 710 combines expertise in both design and manufacture to produce a superb satellite TV system as a reasonable price.

The Kathrein CAP 710 is light weight – <10Kg – makes it ideal in situations where weight is a consideration.

A 60cm dish, powerful motor unit and combined controller / receiver enable the CAP 710 to pick up all British TV & Radio stations throughout the British Isles, Ireland, Belgium, Holland, Switzerland, western Germany, Austria, northern Italy, France, and north-east Spain.
Beyond those areas, the CAP 710 will pick up dozens of British TV and radio channels including all main BBC radio stations.

The receiver enables reception of dozens of different satellites and up to 4,000 channels. Two common access slots are provided so that subscription cards (not SKY cards) can also be used. The receiver also acts as the system’s controller, saving space and ensuring a neat and tidy installation. The system is simple to operate via the on-screen display and even a first timer should be able to use the system within minutes of installation.
