Select speed (1-low, 2-medium or 3-high).

Select fan-blade direction:-
OUT - exhaust i.e. when cooking to expunge all cooking smells to the outdoors.
IN - for air intake.

Open dome manually with hand knob.

Simple activation by opening approx 2 inches

Placing the IN/OUT switch in the center (neutral) position  turns off fan blade.
