CTEK Multi XC 800 Battery Charger

The CTEK XC800 battery charger is designed for use with 6-volt batteries such as are used on motorcycles, lawnmowers and jet-skis.

Like all models in the CTEK range, the XC 800 can be safely left connected indefinitely to ensure that a battery is in peak condition when it's needed. It is completely safe and can even be left out in the rain.

It will charge batteries at a constant rate of 0.8 Amps per hour.

*) Back current drain is what drains the battery if the charger is connected without the power cord connected. The XC 800's extremely low back current drain corresponds to < 1 Ah per month. Many other chargers have 1 Ah per day.
**) Ripple denotes the amount of interference there is to the current and voltage. A high current ripple heats the battery and shortens its life. A linear charger has a current ripple of 70 - 400% which is much larger than the maximum 5% for a modern sealed battery. Voltage ripple could harm other equipment, which is connected to the battery. XC 800's ripple is only 2%. The battery gains a long service life and there is no risk of damage to other electronic devices connected to the battery.
