Alden Platinum SSC 90cm Motorhome Satellite TV System

Alden satellite TV equipment is simple to use, reliable and efficient.

This top of the range Alden Platinum SSC 90cm satellite system will give you the best ever chance of receiving a signal in fringe areas such as Spain, Portugal etc. We would recommend the Platinum be used in conjunction with a sensitive receiver such as the Pace Javelin Digibox if the intention is to use the system in fringe areas such as Southern or Eastern Europe.

At 90cm, the Alden Platinum dish is the biggest available on a roof-mounted system but the dish’s construction means that, even when wind speeds strengthen, the effect on the dish will be kept to a minimum. This is due to the fact that, like domestic SKY dishes, there are thousands of perforations which allow the wind to pass through freely.

With its distinctive colour and specially designed dish, the Alden Platinum looks spectacular and performs superbly.

With both semi and fully automatic units, with a choice of dish sizes and even colours, the Alden range includes models which cover most requirements.

 
All automatic models can be connected to either a F.T.A. receiver such as our Zehnder DX65 digibox or standard Sky digibox which enables reception of several satellites including Astra 2, Astra 1 and Hotbird. This facility ensures that a wide range of TV & radio programmes – including many English language ones – is available just about everywhere in Europe. Of course, as with any satellite TV set-up, the programmes available will vary depending on several factors.

SSC – Satellite System Controller – is one of the most
