Alden satellite TV equipment is simple to use, reliable and efficient.

With both semi and fully automatic units, with a choice of dish sizes and even colours, the Alden range includes models which cover most requirements.

 
All automatic models can be connected to either a F.T.A. receiver such as our Zehnder DX65 digibox or standard Sky digibox which enables reception of several satellites including Astra 2, Astra 1 and Hotbird. This facility ensures that a wide range of TV & radio programmes – including many English language ones – is available just about everywhere in Europe. Of course, as with any satellite TV set-up, the programmes available will vary depending on several factors.

In France, Alden satellite dishes are known for their performance, their reliability, their light weight and their very competitive prices.

Models include automatic systems such as the Orbiter. The Alden Orbiter comes with a choice of dish sizes and dishes can be quickly and easily changed over.

Why SSC? What does it do?
SSC – Satellite System Controller – is one of the most
advanced pieces of equipment available for locating TV
broadcasting satellites. The system can be used with both manual and automatic models and, for manual satellite systems such as the Gosat, SSC makes locating a satellite incredibly quick and easy. With automatic satellite sysems,SSC enables you to use any other receiver such as Canal Plus for France, Sky digibox for England and Première forGermany. You can even use a receiver with a hard disc such as a Sky + digibox. SSC is a real breakthrough in technology but, despite its sophisticated technology, it’s very simple to use. Just switch on, select the satellite you want to find and move the dish. When the SSC finds the satellite’s identifying signal, a distinctive «beep-beep» tells you. Even the most ardent technophobe can use Alden’s SSC.
